IoTBZ Platform
We are IoTBZ, an Industrial Internet of Things (IIoT) Platform-as-a-Service (PaaS) for environmental condition monitoring and control that provides hardware-software connectivity, management dashboard and data visualization application. we provide each service based on your needs:
- application layer: Management dashboard & web-application
- network layer: MQTT server and authentication
- perception layer: Gateway and Data Acquisition System
We have over a decade of experience in creating hardware and software solutions, especially for IoT-based systems integrations. We saw an opportunity to provide a cloud-based platform that allows users to monitor and control the environmental conditions of their industrial sites remotely, with minimal technical skills required.

User Management
The first section in the management dashboard is User Management. In this section, the admin can define system users and assign them different access levels.
One of the features of the IoTBZ system is its integration with artificial intelligence. Artificial intelligence is accessible in the rule management section. some users can use it to make changes to the settings in the dashboard. This type of access level is also created by the admin in this section by defining different users.
Equipment Management
In this section, the admin or user can define and associate different hardware spaces. Additionally, the method of connecting hardware to the server is specified, which will be explained below as the photo represents:
- Mainboard
Mainboard is a Combination of several Devices such as Gateways and DAS. Gateways are the main nodes of the system, responsible for communicating with server.
- Expansions
Expansions are usually a Combination of 1 or several DAS. DAS (Data Acquisition System) in IoTBZ system refers to the equipment profiles that collects environmental data or applies data control.
- Asset
For each DAS, depending on its capacity, it is possible to define up to 256 digital inputs as feedback, 256 digital outputs as actuators, and 256 sensors.
- Zone
The first task a user can perform in this section is to define different areas as zones. For example, consider a space that includes different sections such as rooms, halls, or buildings.
Rule Management
Based on manual control through sensor observation, feedback, and operator status changes, One of the most important features of the system is automatic control mode. In this section, the system admin can create rules by combining multiple logical conditions. For example, if feedback is in off state, an output is on, and another sensor is within upper limit range 2, certain system operators in another zone can be turned on or off. Logical rules are created by combining the defined conditions, and the corresponding output is determined by the user.
IoTBZ Application
After designing and configuring the system in the management dashboard, users can utilize the designed system through web application. Web application serves as a monitoring and controlling the system as well as displaying real-time and historical data. In this section, users can check events in real-time or historical records. Essentially in the management dashboard, administrators can define which users have access to the system and which sections of it. They also specify the physical equipment’s assigned locations. The communication path between the physical devices and the server is determined, and the desired APIs for accessing data are specified in dashboard. In the web application, users with different access are able to view system data and events, directly control hardware components that they have access to and modify settings which admin has granted in the management dashboard.

IoTBZ Hardware
IoTBZ also has developed separate hardware solutions for industrial and semi-industrial uses in order to check system functionality, attract users, and facilitate tasks. One set of hardware includes industrial-grade gateway and DAS boards with compatibility features for industrial conditions, along with an I/O board. Another set developed by IoTBZ for home use is a Connected Sensor that incorporates all the necessary configurations and can be used in plug and play way, taking advantage of IoTBZ’s features in semi-industrial applications. This Mainboard set consists of a gateway and a DAS board placed together, which are securely connected to the server through an SSL connection using a SIM card module. Users can easily perform all their desired tasks by inserting a SIM card and accessing the application.
